PZ Selected as Finalist for Rotch 2021 Competition
Organized by the Boston Society of Architects
Peter Zuroweste (PZ) has been selected to compete in the finals round of the 2021 Rotch Traveling Scholarship Competition organized by the Boston Society of Architects. His winning project from the preliminary round "Splay/Stagger/Stack: Learning from Architecture as Play" proposed an all-timber system of modular, stackable classrooms for Boston's Public Schools. The prototypes - designed as indoor/outdoor learning spaces in response to the challenges of teaching and learning in a Covid-19 environment - can be adapted to a wide variety of urban, semi-urban, and sub-urban building sites.
